THE CAPRICCIOS
Inspired by both the capriccio paintings of the 18th Century, and the socio-political upheavals of our time, these paintings are portraits of the crumbling and collapsed foundations our world is built upon. Far from Hollywood-style apocalypse, among such ruins I think there might be a very real chance to culturally reshape our relationship with (among many other things) poverty, male chauvinism, xenophobia, and climate change.
Sooner or later, slowly or fast, this system will collapse. What will we rebuild from it's ruins?
